Absolutely amazing staff and old school motel. This place was more clean than newer hotels. You can tell that money is being spent to maintain the upkeep here. I will stay here everytime I travel this way. I have never had anyone from a hotel give me their personal cell phone number to keep me updated as I travel to this part of Texas.
I'm biking from Austin, Texas to New York and I've been staying at a lot of motels and this one was one of the best ones I've stayed at. The rooms look like actual rooms in a house and it has a really nice family that runs it and they got a beautiful garden in the back. They were very nice. Also they had a really nice TV and cable. Thanks y'all! Y'all made my visit really nice.
This is a no-frills motel. The entire place looks a little old but you can tell they try to make efforts to keep it up. You're not getting a coffee maker in your room. You're getting a clean room with a place to take a shower and sleep for $65 (in February, 2024) Let me emphasize that it was very clean. The floors were all hard, no carpet. The TV was huge and they even had the forethought to hang an HDMI cable for guests access. It even had Roku. A little dark in the shower stall but the water pressure was amazing as well as the temperature!! We were in the back side of the motel but it was very lit up and I didn't have any security concerns. There is a Mexican restaurant right next door.
A mom-and-pop, family business motel that’s affordable and has everything you need: WiFi, Direct TV, A/C, king bed, hot shower with high pressure, fridge, microwave, eating table and chairs. Close to numerous food and beverage (car required). I stayed for three nights over July 4th weekend and have zero complaints about my stay.
Been in a lot of motels, this one is top notch. About as mom and pop as it gets, very clean, well kept place. Way cheaper than all the name brand spots off the freeway and way better room in my opinion. Very impressed.
Very great stay! The rooms were super clean, ac worked well, water pressure was phenomenal, location was convenient, & price was reasonable. Owners are extremely nice as well which is a bonus!
The rooms are very cute. A little dated, but in a very nice way. The beds are nice and comfortable, the closet is huge, and the bathroom is clean and well stocked. The rooms also have a TV (with a guide function, unlike most hotels), a mini fridge, and a microwave. The employees are very nice and make suggestions when you check in. I will definitely be staying here again.
The owner was very nice. The room was very clean. In the last 4 stays in the Marshall area this place had the cleanest room by far. The rate for a double full bed was around $73 total. We stayed at the Clarion Pointe the time before, the rate there was $135 and the room was dirty so this place is the better deal. The room had a fridge and microwave. The ac worked great. It was also a quiet stay which is a plus for me. The bed wasn't bad. I am kind of snobby when it comes to beds because I don't sleep well when I stay in a room and if the bed is hard then I don't sleep at all, but this one was decent and I slept okay. The sheets and bedspread was clean also. The only complaint and it doesn't take away from the review is there was no light in the shower so it was a bit dark. Overall, I will try to stay here again if I need a room in Marshall.
